NO INSOLVENCY AND NO CLOSURE - this corrects a common misreading. Heide is operating (2025 revenue stated as EUR 3.4bn) and its owner Klesch EXPANDED in 2026 by acquiring Gelsenkirchen. The Klesch/Germany litigation that exists is an ICSID arbitration (ARB/23/49) over the EU solidarity contribution - a TAX dispute, not insolvency (https://www.italaw.com/cases/10931 ; https://investmentpolicy.unctad.org/investment-dispute-settlement/cases/1320/). THREE CAPACITY FIGURES: Heide/Klesch state 'up to 4 million tonnes' of crude per year AND 93,000 barrels per day; en2x gives 4,200 thousand t at 31.12.2022. All retained. en2x cross-check value is a 31.12.2022 snapshot from a survey that is now demonstrably stale (it still shows Nynas Harburg operating, Wesseling crude running and bp owning Gelsenkirchen).
