Crude processing is confirmed: the 2025 report states 'A 213 MSEK investment was approved during the year to increase vacuum distillation capacity at our Nynashamn site' and 'The Group purchases crude oil at current market price'; the site is described as 'One of the world's largest naphthenic manufacturing plants' and 'Established in 1928, Nynashamn is Nynas' core production site'. It is also described as the 'First refinery globally to operate with biomass-based steam generation' and employs approximately 260 people.
