In 2021, Belgium imported 28.7 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Russia (29%), Norway (17%) and Kazakhstan (14%). Its refined-product imports were 22.5 million tonnes, most from the Netherlands (46%), Russia (15%) and Norway (6%).

Yearly figures are the sum of the published monthly tonnes over the months with a published figure; shares are each origin’s tonnes over that sum.
