Where the EU’s crude oil and fuel come from, as each member state reports its imports; every band’s width is proportional to tonnes.
In June 2026, Belgium's road diesel supply was 1,112 kt: 61% from its own refineries, with imports mainly from the Netherlands (34%); tracing one step back, the crude behind it is estimated to come mainly from Norway (25%), the United States (18%) and Kazakhstan (12%), and 7% cannot be traced.
