Where the EU’s crude oil and fuel come from, as each member state reports its imports; every band’s width is proportional to tonnes.
In December 2024, Belgium's road diesel supply was 1,397 kt: 60% from its own refineries, with imports mainly from the Netherlands (24%) and the United States (9%); tracing one step back, the crude behind it is estimated to come mainly from the United States (20%), Norway (16%) and the United Kingdom (7%), and 22% cannot be traced.
