In 2018, Belgium imported 37.7 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the Netherlands (83%), Russia (7%) and Algeria (4%). Its refined-product imports were 36.8 million tonnes, most from the Netherlands (34%), Russia (14%) and the United Kingdom (12%).
