Ireland: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
In 2024, Ireland imported 2.0 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (87%) and Azerbaijan (13%). Its refined-product imports were 5.7 million tonnes, most from the United Kingdom (50%), the Netherlands (30%) and Belgium (9%).

Refined products are seven product families (road diesel, petrol, jet fuel, heating and other gasoil, fuel oil, naphtha, LPG); other products such as bitumen and lubricants are not included.
