In 2021, Slovakia imported 5.4 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Russia (96%), Hungary (4%) and Italy (<0.1%). Its refined-product imports were 1.3 million tonnes, most from Czechia (50%), Austria (39%) and Poland (2%).
