In 2024, France imported 44.6 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (23%), Kazakhstan (12%) and Nigeria (12%). Its refined-product imports were 34.7 million tonnes, most from the United States (12%), Saudi Arabia (12%) and the Netherlands (11%).
