Greece: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
In 2021, Greece imported 23.4 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Iraq (44%), Kazakhstan (14%) and Russia (13%). Its refined-product imports were 4.2 million tonnes, most from Spain (13%), Italy (11%) and the United Arab Emirates (11%).
