In 2021, Ireland imported 3.0 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (55%), Norway (24%) and Canada (12%). Its refined-product imports were 4.4 million tonnes, most from the United Kingdom (50%), Russia (11%) and the Netherlands (9%).
