Germany: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
In 2025, Germany imported 80.3 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Norway (17%), Libya (15%) and the United States (14%). Its refined-product imports were 31.5 million tonnes, most from the Netherlands (57%), Belgium (17%) and the United States (4%).
