Germany: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
In 2019, Germany imported 86.0 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Russia (31%), the United Kingdom (12%) and Norway (11%). Its refined-product imports were 39.6 million tonnes, most from the Netherlands (46%), Belgium (19%) and Russia (17%).
