In January–June 2026, Italy imported 28.0 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Libya (26%), Kazakhstan (14%) and Azerbaijan (14%). Its refined-product imports were 6.1 million tonnes, most from Saudi Arabia (31%), Algeria (12%) and Greece (9%).
