Malta: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
Malta reported no crude oil imports in 2018. In 2018, Malta imported 3.0 million tonnes of refined products, most from Italy (28%), Greece (15%) and Russia (13%).
