Malta: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
Malta reported no crude oil imports in 2019. In 2019, Malta imported 3.1 million tonnes of refined products, most from Russia (20%), Italy (18%) and Türkiye (14%).
