Netherlands: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
In 2025, the Netherlands imported 52.5 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (22%), Norway (18%) and Kazakhstan (14%). Its refined-product imports were 66.6 million tonnes, most from Belgium (24%), Germany (15%) and the United Kingdom (12%).
