In 2025, Italy imported 47.4 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Libya (24%), Azerbaijan (15%) and Kazakhstan (12%). Its refined-product imports were 15.0 million tonnes, most from Saudi Arabia (24%), Algeria (11%) and India (9%).
