Spain: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
In 2022, Spain imported 63.6 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Nigeria (13%), the United States (10%) and Mexico (10%). Its refined-product imports were 15.0 million tonnes, most from Italy (15%), Russia (7%) and the Netherlands (7%).
