Belgium: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
In 2024, Belgium imported 30.8 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (18%), Norway (18%) and Kazakhstan (12%). Its refined-product imports were 20.0 million tonnes, most from the Netherlands (51%), the United States (11%) and Norway (5%).
