In 2025, France imported 49.6 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (24%), Kazakhstan (15%) and Nigeria (13%). Its refined-product imports were 30.1 million tonnes, most from Saudi Arabia (15%), the United States (13%) and the Netherlands (11%).
