In 2022, France imported 43.6 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (17%), Kazakhstan (12%) and Nigeria (12%). Its refined-product imports were 36.2 million tonnes, most from Russia (18%), Saudi Arabia (13%) and the Netherlands (9%).
