In 2021, Italy imported 57.4 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Azerbaijan (22%), Libya (18%) and Iraq (14%). Its refined-product imports were 14.7 million tonnes, most from Saudi Arabia (23%), Russia (20%) and Algeria (8%).
