Spain: crude oil and fuel imports since 2015
Counted as the country reports it in its energy statistics: crude oil by the country where it was produced, refined products by the country they were last shipped from, which may be a trading hub rather than where they were refined.
In 2017, Spain imported 65.8 million tonnes of crude oil, most from Mexico (15%), Nigeria (14%) and Saudi Arabia (10%). Its refined-product imports were 17.8 million tonnes, most from Italy (26%), Saudi Arabia (11%) and Portugal (9%).
