In 2023, France imported 45.5 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (17%), Nigeria (12%) and Kazakhstan (12%). Its refined-product imports were 33.5 million tonnes, most from Belgium (13%), Saudi Arabia (12%) and the Netherlands (11%).
