In 2025, France imported 45.6 million tonnes of crude oil, most from the United States (22%), Kazakhstan (15%) and Nigeria (12%). Its refined-product imports were 30.3 million tonnes, most from Saudi Arabia (16%), the United States (13%) and the Netherlands (11%).
